Over $186K Raised for Fort McMurray with $250K on the way!

REALTORS® across the country have been moved by the images coming out of Fort McMurray and our community has responded to this disaster with an outpouring of generosity.

After only a week and a half, we have collectively raised over $186,000. The Canadian REALTORS Care® Foundation has cut an initial cheque for this full amount for the Canadian Red Cross. Tens of thousands more dollars have been pledged and are expected to be received shortly. In fact, earlier today we were blown away to learn that our American friends at the National Association of REALTORS® have committed to donating $250,000 to the cause!

On behalf of the Canadian Real Estate Association and the Canadian REALTORS Care® Foundation, we would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has donated so far and all those who have challenged their colleagues and friends to do the same. For those of you who have yet to donate, it’s not too late. It’s amazing what we can accomplish together and we’re not done yet!
Best regards,
Cliff Iverson
