Political Action Committee

October 16th – 18th, 2016 – Several of BREB’s Government Relations Committee members attended the Canadian Real Estate Association’s Political Action Committee (PAC) Days conference along with Association Executives from across the country in Ottawa to meet our local Members of Parliament on issues that affect homeowners and the REALTOR® Community. This year’s conference featured prominent politicians, political insiders and journalists who know a thing or two about power, politics and the inner workings of Parliament Hill. The program also included a presentation from American investigative journalist and best-selling author Bob Woodward. Mr. Woodward was one of the lead reporters who broke the Watergate scandal for The Washington Post in 1972, earning the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service the following year.
