Stakeholder Update #27

The Ontario Municipal Board has scheduled a pre-hearing conference on the appeal by Brampton Brick of their zoning by-law application to permit a shale quarry on the east side of Winston Churchill Boulevard, north of Old Pine Crest Road in the City of Brampton. The  Pre-Hearing Conference is scheduled for June 12, 2017 in the Council Chambers at Brampton City Hall with overflow seating provided in the West Tower Atrium.  Brampton Brick, the proponent, is responsible to serve Notice of the Pre-Hearing Conference, which sets out the location and timing of the meeting.  Notice of the prehearing conference will be posted on the City’s website once it becomes available.  A stakeholder update will be issued with the Notice attached, when available.

The September 2014 Council position to refuse the Norval Quarry proposal has not changed.
