OREA’s REBBA Review member consultation is officially open!
Today, OREA launched our REBBAreform.ca website, REBBA Reform video and our first white paper – Better Enforcement and a Regulator that Works (enclosed). Please share this with your members.
OREA’s first white paper is the culmination of hard work and bold policy proposals suggested by the REBBA Review Task Force. The feedback on the discussion points included in the white paper will determine which ideas go to the ‘REBBA Review Day’ held at the upcoming Political Affairs Conference.
To provide you, our local boards, with more information about the consultation plan, we will be hosting a conference call/webinar on Wednesday, August 23rd, at 12:30pm for Board Executive Officers, PAC Chairs, Board Presidents and Board GR staff.
This memo provides you with instructions on how to login to the online meeting using your computer. Please pay attention to the “How to Connect/Participate” section of this email and please contact us in advance of the meeting if you have any questions or concerns.
How to Connect/Participate
Participants will connect to our online webinar portal – Adobe Connect – and follow along as OREA staff move through a presentation.
You can access the Adobe Connect by clicking on this link: http://orea.adobeconnect.com/rebbareviewupdate/ on your computer/laptop.
Log-in Information
- Log into the web at 12:15pm
– Access this email on your computer
– Click on this link: http://orea.adobeconnect.com/rebbareviewupdate/
– At the log-in screen click on “Enter as Guest” and type in your full name. Click on Enter.
- Phone in at 12:25pm
– Call 1-800-747-5150 to join the phone portion of the meeting
– When prompted, enter access code 4423408 followed by # sign
– Please mute your phone once connected.
The meeting will start promptly at 12:30pm.
