RECO has launched a formal, third-party review of the Mandatory Continuing Education (MCE) Program that involves extensive research and consultation with industry experts and stakeholders, including all registrants. We are giving advance notice of the first part of the review to local boards and associations to ask for your help in encouraging participation from your members.
Last month, RECO hired CamProf Inc., an independent consultant to lead the review. Starting Monday, they will email registrants a link to a survey about MCE.
The survey period will run from May 14 to May 28. If registrants do not see this email, they are advised to check their spam folder for a message from CamProf Inc.
RECO is asking for your help to encourage survey participation. Please consider using your communications channels to encourage members to complete the survey and offer their candid feedback on MCE.
The feedback and insights gathered during the MCE review will help RECO further enhance the program for all Ontario registrants. The review is exploring all aspects of the program, including:
- the overall learning experience;
- the technology platform; and
- course delivery methods, including the feasibility of introducing classroom options.
Education is one of RECO’s core regulatory functions. By participating in the review, registrants can do their part to help maintain high professional and educational standards for the industry.
Thank you for your assistance in encouraging registrant participation in the MCE review. |
