NEW DRONE REGULATIONS & TRANSPORT CANADA INFORMATION SESSIONS
Are you a Drone user or interested in Drones – then these important information sessions are for you!!
Transport Canada has announced new rules and regulations for drones, which will take effect on June 1, 2019. REALTORS® using drone photography for their business may be impacted. The new regulations no longer differentiate between recreational and commercial drone operations and will require drone pilots to register and mark their drones, as well as pass an exam for their pilot certificate. A communication about the new regulations will be included in this months News2Me.
That being said, Transport Canada officials announced this week that they will be hosting public information sessions to answer questions on the new regulations.

The deadline to register for the sessions is 24 hours before the event. Space is limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
