Town of Erin Real Estate Sign Bylaw Change

Please note that on November 12, 2019 the Town of Erin Council repealed By-law #06-21A, a by-law regarding portable real estate signs on public property.

Effective immediately, portable real estate signs are no longer permitted in the Town of Erin. This DOES NOT include an open house sign.

Town of Erin Sign By-law 03-58 (regulating all signs) will be reviewed in 2020.

Portable real estate sign means a directional sign not located on the property for sale that provides direction to the said property but DOES NOT include an open house sign.

The Town of Erin By-law Enforcement division will begin removing all portable, directional, wayfinding, etc. signs on January 1, 2020.

This will allow you time to remove any of your signs that are currently within Town boundaries.

Town of Erin Sign By-law 03-58 (regulating all signs) will be reviewed in 2020. If you wish to receive more information at that time, please let me know by email and I will create a contact list.

Please feel free to pass on this message to any others that may be affected.

Thank you for your cooperation.
