How New Sanctions on Russia Affect REALTORS®

The Canadian government has imposed new sanctions in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine under the Special Economic Measures (Russia) Regulations and the Special Economic Measures (Ukraine) Regulations. 

The sanctions include stringent prohibitions on persons in Canada, and Canadians outside Canada, from dealing in any property, wherever situated, of sanctioned persons.  

It is important for all brokers and sales representatives to abide by Canadian economic sanctions.
