New TRESA Regulations Update

The Government of Ontario has passed new regulations under the Trust in Real Estate Services Act, 2020 (“TRESA”) that will impact your business including:

  • New rules governing the offer process;
  • A new principle-based code of ethics;
  • Enhanced disclosures for buyers and sellers; and
  • Creation of a new consumer Information Guide
