Voting opens and the meeting will begin at 10:00 am.

QUALIFICATIONS of a DIRECTOR

Article 6 – Section 2 – 2.2

Every Director must be a Member of the Board in good standing and have served at least one (1) full term on at least one (1) Committee in the preceding five (5) years.

Members of the Brampton Real Estate Board, subject to Article 6 – Section 2-2.2, are encouraged to let their name stand for the position of Director. There are two ways to do this:

1 – Put your own name forward; by obtaining two (2) endorsers. Fill out the “ENDORSEMENT” and the “AGREEMENT AFFIDAVIT” portion of this document; or,

2 – Upon being notified that you have been endorsed, you must agree to accept the nomination from a fellow Member, by filling out the “AGREEMENT AFFIDAVIT” portion only, of this document.

Moving forward in the Technology World for BREB Members

Effective immediately as a BREB Member you are now able to pay your account online through your personnel bank.  Add BREB as a payee – Brampton Real Estate Board and your account number is your 7 digit MLS® number.

You are able to pay your monthly membership dues, and any of your bgara account purchases.

You will find this is a great advantage for those that are not in the area and wish to save the trip to the office, purchase online from One Stop Shop then pay online.

If you are currently setup to have your payments automatically processed with a credit card and wish for this to change please email Caroline (caroline@breb.org) in Accounting and she will make the necessary adjustments.

YPN – Rebar – Where is Technology Taking You

The BRAMPTON Young Proffessional Network (YPN) is hosting a Rebar on Nov 21, 2011 1:00 – 5:00  Lionshead Golf Course

This will be held right after the stratus ™ Sneak Peek Preview

New stratus™ Sneak Peak Preview

The requests have been growing over the past year for a new platform of stratus™MLS® that would allow for access through multiple browsers.  Stratus Data Systems, our MLS® provider, has developed that new platform and we will be launching it in 2012.  We have arranged for a sneak peak preview of the new stratus™ platform.

TIME:                    10:00 am – 11:30 am

COST:                    $10.00 (includes Lunch)

 

The Preview will focus on the differences between what we call now stratus™ and the New stratus™. Both will run concurrently for one year and then the New stratus™ will become your only choice. There will be loads of networking opportunities and you will also receive One (1) CE credit for your attendance at the New Stratus™ education session.  Please remember that November 21 is a preview and Not a launch.
